Truth and Justice for Palestine presents a People’s Roundtable

Truth and Justice for Palestine is hosting a People’s Roundtable on July 26th in Albany to discuss current events relating to Palestine and beyond and to draw attention to the lopsided nature of media reporting including on WAMC’s Roundtable program. The group says that the Roundtable hosted thirteen US and Israeli military affiliated voices for every one independent middle east expert and that they have only one person of color for every twelve white guests. The event will be moderated by author, feminist icon and former Albany Common Council member Barbara Smith and panelists include, journalist Eduardo Rodriguez Santiago, public historian Lacey Wilson and tenant organizer Canyon Ryan.
