The World of James Knapp: Black Life in Gilded Age Albany (P-1)

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, Hudson Mohawk Magazine Roaming Labor Correspondent Willie Terry attended the Historic Cherry Hill’s Albany History Fair. The theme of the history fair was “The World of James Knapp: Black Life in Glided Age Albany.” In this part one Labor segment, Willie interviewed Honorary Committee Member and event Coordinator Deborah Emmons-Andarawis, as well as Albany University History Professor Dr. Kori Graves, about the theme of the event, “The World of James Knapp.”
