NY For All Would Protect Immigrants Against ICE (full)

On Thursday June 5, the New York Immigration Coalition and other immigrant rights advocates rallied in the State Capitol to urge the state legislature to finally pass the New York For All Act which would prohibit state and local government agencies, including law enforcement, from collaborating with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. We talk first with Robert Agyemang, Vice President of Advocacy for the New York Immigration Coalition. From the rally we hear Cassandra Bocanegra, New York Immigration Coalition; lead bill sponsor Assemblymember Karines Reyes; Hudson Mayor Kamal Johnson; Pauline from Adelante Students Voices, and Dede Hill from the Schuyler Center for Analysis and Advocacy. By Mark Dunlea for Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
