Jennifer Black Co-authored “Beneath the Mountain” with Mumia Abu-Jamal

“Beneath the Mountain: An Anti-Prison Reader” is a book with texts by enslaved, jailed, and imprisoned Americans, edited by renowned political prisoner Mumia Abu-Jamal and activist-scholar Jennifer Black. On April 26, Jennifer Black will be in the Capital Region for a book talk, and she spoke with Sina Basila Hickey about the reader, the upcoming book talk, and the work of Mumia Abu-Jamal.
