Hundreds Rally at Capitol for NY Health

On March 18, several hundred people including many medical students and doctors came to Albany to lobby for NY Health, a single payer universal health care program NY Health would lower overall health care expenditures while ensuring that all New Yorkers would have access to quality health care regardless of their employment or immigration status, with no out of pocket expenditures and no role for private health expenditures. We hear first from retired Assemblymember Richard Gottfried, the author of NY Health.
