Getting Musical Instruments to Kids

Do you have an unused musical instrument that you’d like to pass on? Are you interested in hearing how instruments are shared with kids throughout the Capital region? Or the many benefits of learning music? Jill Rifkin talks about her work gathering, sometimes fixing, and distributing donated instruments through Vanguard, Inc., the volunteer organization that supports the Albany Symphony Orchestra. Jill will be at Crossgates Mall on Saturday, March 8th, 10:30 to 5, to collect donations of band or orchestra instruments (please, no pianos!).
