Food Pantries of the Capital DIstrict See Rise in Hunger

Across the Food Pantries of the Capital District 73 coalition members, service levels are up five percent over this time last year, when its members collectively served more than 104,000 people, including more than 28,500 children. Food insecurity in the Capital District is an escalating problem. The group’s annual fundraiser, the Harvest Evening Celebration, is taking place this year on Thursday, October 23, at Franklin Plaza in Troy.
