Faith Groups Rally For Housing Reform

The Faith-Based Affordable Housing Act (S3397 / A3647) would make it easier for faith institutions to build homes across this state. It encourages governments to make it possible for residents to access affordable housing by removing unduly restrictive zoning. On Feb. 4, faith-based groups rallied at the State Capitol to solve the housing crisis. The coalition also spoke in favor of the Housing Access Voucher Program. We hear from Assemblymember Linda Rosenthal and Senator Andrew Gounardes, followed by Pastor Dustin Longmire of Messiah Lutheran Church in Rotterdam and Mazi Luvatour
