Alec Karakatsanis, known online as ‘EqualityAlec’ is an attorney and the founder of Civil Rights Corp, an organization that challenges systemic injustices in the US legal system. On Saturday, he appeared at the James Connolly Social Club in Troy to speak about his latest book: Copaganda: how police and the media manipulate our news.
