The segment explores the vital work these organizations are doing, shares accessible information on local air quality, and highlights practical steps individuals can take—such as masking and other community care practices. Listeners will also hear reflections on past air filter workshops, as well as hopes and plans for future initiatives. As part of this ongoing effort, the Sanctuary will be hosting a DIY Air Purifier Workshop on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM. Learn how to build a simple and effective air purifier using just a box fan, tape, cardboard, and a furnace filter—an easy way to improve respiratory hygiene at home.
