Capital Region Nurses Town Hall Meeting (P 3)

On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, Hudson Mohawk Magazine Roaming Labor Willie Terry attended the Capital Region Nurses Town Hall Meeting, calling for safe staffing and a fair contract at Albany Medical Center. The meeting was hosted at the Albany Black Chamber of Commerce. Michael Fitzsimmons, a nurse and NY State Nurses Association Negotiating Team member, chaired the town hall. In this Labor segment, Willie recorded comments from Mark Emanatian, Executive Director for the Capital District Area Labor Federation, and Margaret Franks, NYSNA Regional Director, who spoke in support of the Albany Nurse’s struggle for a fair contract and better patient care at Albany Medical Center.
