Dalglish cannot recall a time in American history when threats to a free and independent press were so numerous or potent. She doesn’t even like thinking about the future of media because it’s impossible to ignore the possibility that Freedom of Thought and Expression enshrined in the First Amendment are being crushed by censorship and lack of public support.
