“Marighella” Film Showing Tuesday at ACPHS

Hear about the Braziian revolutionary Carlos Marighella and his cohorts in a free film on February 20th at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Prof. Kevin Hickey, coordinator of an annual Africana film series at the school, talks about the film, the series, and how the word African_a_ includes Africa and the people of its diaspora. The event starts with free pizza at 7pm, in room 201 of the Student Center at ACPHS on Holland Avenue in Albany. For details, visit www.acphs.edu/africana-film-series. Produced by Brea Barthel for Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
