Haley Jeansonne On Sunhee’s Community Place

Sunhee’s Community Place is the non-profit arm of Sunhee’s Farm and Kitchen, which seeks to empower immigrants and refugees through employment opportunities and educational programming. Starting in July of 2024, Sunhee’s Community Place and The Sanctuary for Independent Media partnered to provide experiential learning opportunities for English language learners (ESLs). Sunhee’s Haley Jeansonne sat down with fellow AmeriCorps VISTA and Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent, Marshall Hildreth, to discuss the Community Place and this partnership.
