Brennan Center Discusses Proposed Changes To NYS Public Campaign Finance

2024 will be the first year that state legislative candidates in New York will be able to qualify for partial public campaign financing. However, Senate Democrats are proposing to make the program more restrictive. A similar measure was vetoed by Governor Hochul last year after complaints by good government groups. Joanna Zdanyc of the Brennan Center for Justice discusses the program with Mark Dunlea for Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
