Albany Common Council Ceasefire Resolution-Public Comment

On Thursday, January 4, the Albany Common Council passed a resolution calling for a ceasefire in Gaza by a 10-2 vote. Before the meeting, supporters rallied outside City Hall and then filled the meeting hall to demand an end to the killing in Gaza. On Friday, Hudson Mohawk Magazine aired excerpts of the council members discussion of the resolution. This segment features a selection of the community members who spoke during the public comment period at the meeting.
