Africana Film showing 2/13/24

Learn more about Tunisia’s “Jasmine Revolution” — the event that started Arab Spring — through the film “Un Fils” (“A Son”), a tense family drama taking place in the aftermath of a political revolution. The film will be shown on February 13th at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Prof. Kevin Hickey, coordinator of an annual Africana film series at he school, talks about the film, the series, his four-year bike trip through 20 African countries, and more with Hudson Mohawk Magazine’s Brea Barthel.
