Musician Mark Emanation Reflects on Legacy of Sinéad O’Connor

Irish singer Sinéad O’Connor, whose work had a global impact including in the Capital District both due the uniqueness of her musical talent, died on Wednesday July 26, 2023. Her love for Celtic music but also her willingness to confront issues such as racism, sexism, and child abuse in the Catholic Church made her legendary. To reflect on Sinéad O’Connor’s legacy, Mark Dunlea spoke with local musician and activist Mark Emanation.
