Free Menstrual Products

For people who menstruate and are challenged by the cost of related products, there’s a new program that offers free materials in “Period Pantries” in Schenectady and Albany. The “Capital Region Menstrual Health” program was started by three New York Sate Public Health Fellows working through Cornell Cooperative Extension. Claire Jennings and Brynn Watkins (both in Schenectady CCE) and Annabelle Rieseler (Albany CCE)talk with Brea Barthel about the program, locations, and plans for future pantries.
