Dim the Lights for Birds at Night

What’s the first thing you think of when you hear the term migration? Perhaps the image of a flock of geese flying in a classic “V shape” pattern comes to mind? Or maybe even the thought of changing seasons? Regardless, what is important to understand is just how significant this occurrence is to these creatures, particularly birds. As we see in many cases, the actions we take as people impact this process significantly. Meg Kelly interviewed Neil Gifford for Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
