Books on Food, Fantasy, and More

What do dreams, Korean food, Japanese life, “dark academia” fantasy, and music trivia have in common? Each is the topic of four 2022 books and an upcoming activity recommended this month by Ian Houck, head of Adult Services and Reference Services at Troy Public Library. The titles discussed this month: “Illustrated Encyclopedia of Signs, Symbols, & Dream Interpretation” (O’Connell, Airey, & Craze, 2022); “Korean American: Food That Tastes Like Home” (Eric Kim, 2022); “Life Ceremony: Stories” (Sayaka Murata, 2022); and “The Atlas Paradox” (Olivie Blake, 2022).
