Troy Seeks Public Input for Use of Federal Funds

On February 4, the City of Troy announced the creation of a new website for Troy residents to submit ideas for how to use the second half of the COVID relief funds from the federal government under the American Rescue Plan. The new website is part of the Troy Now Initiative, which has been called a “once in a lifetime opportunity” to implement big projects that will impact the future of the city. HMM correspondent Corinne Carey spoke with Troy City Council President Carmella Mantello about the Troy Now Initiative. Listeners can visit www.troynow.org for more information.
