Troy Rejects Full Environmental Review Of 1011 2nd Ave Project

By a 6 to 1 vote, the Troy City Council voted against requiring a full environmental review of the proposed 1011 2nd Ave project that will put a large apartment complex on one of the last undeveloped parcels on the Hudson River in Troy which is sacred indigenous site. The City will now hold a public hearing on rezoning the parcel on May 25. Jess Bennett of the Friends of the Mahicantuck provides an update with Mark Dunlea of the Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
