MoonCatcher Project Makes Reusable Menstrual Pads to Bring Awareness to Women’s Health

To celebrate “World Menstrual Hygiene Day” on May 28, the MoonCatcher Project has volunteers at a “Moon Bee” helping to prepare kits of reusable menstrual products to help girls in over 30 countries stay in school. Ellie Van Wellsheim, founder and director, talks with Hudson Mohawk Magazine producer Brea Barthel, about the importance of the kits and health education, related economic development efforts, a current auction to raise funds, and more.
