Roberto Múkaro Borrero on Indigenous Lands

At the Waterfall Unity Celebration, a weekend event in the Schoharie Valley to support a Land-Back effort to the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk), people gathered to support the building of a longhouse, celebrate Indigenous music and culture, and to fundraise for the purchase of a berry farm. Roberto Múkaro Borrero (Human Rights Advocate, Consultant, Cultural Adviser, Writer, Artist, Musician) spoke with Hudson Mohawk Magazine producer Sina Basila Hickey about Land-Back, misrepresentation of Indigenous culture, and co-existing governments.
