Nurturing Artists of Color at the Center for AfroFuturist Studies

Artist, poet, and educator Anaïs Duplan returned to Hudson Mohawk Magazine to speak with Sina Basila Hickey about his recent radio broadcasts in collaboration with EMPAC based on his recent book of essays, Blackspace: On the Poetics of an Afrofuture. He also spoke about the importance of artists, why there was a need to create an artist residency program for artists of color, and upcoming virtual events.
