New York Bill Would Decriminalize Psilocybin

A bill that would decriminalize psilocybin, the naturally occurring substance found in “magic mushrooms” is pending in the state legislature. Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent Corinne Carey spoke with the bill’s sponsor, Assemblymember Linda Rosenthal, about her bill, why she introduced it, what it would do, and what opposition it might face.
