Judge Rejects Plea Deal in Schoharie Limo Deaths

Judge Peter Lynch on Wednesday rejected the controversial plea agreement that would have meant no prison time for the operator of the limo company that killed 20 people when the brakes of a limousine failed in Schoharie in 2018. The verdict drew applause and tears from victims’ relatives who packed the court.
