Horner of NYPIRG on NYS Redrawing Election Districts

The state constitution was amended a decade ago to set up an independent commission to handle the redrawing of Congressional and state legislative district lines following the federal census. However, the state legislature, dominated by the Democrats, will end up once again drawing the lines – largely to favor the Democrats (i.e., gerrymandering). Blair Horner of NYPIRG discusses what is happening, the possibility of litigation, and how the process still needs to be reformed. With Mark Dunlea for Hudson Mohawk Radio Network.
