Labor Organizing Around MLK Day

The Solidarity Committee of the Capital District has been organizing labor and community events for Martin Luther King Jr Day for more than 2 decades. They are part of the MLK event this year, co-hosted by the Sanctuary for Independent Media. Art Fleishner, co-founder of Solidarity and former President of Troy Area Labor Council, discussed labor organizing and the transformation of Dr. King into a radical on peace and economic justice issues.
