First Opioid Settlement Funds Arrive in Capital District

NY Attorney General Letitia James held virtual press conferences all around the state on April 19, 2022 to announce opioid settlement monies for each region. Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy and Albany Treasurer Darius Shahinfar joined the attorney general to announce the first tranche of several settlements for the capital district, Albany County, and the city of Albany, to be used for treatment, education and prevention.
