Expanding Access to Psychedelics

A mounting body of scientific research and personal experiences are demonstrating significant mental health benefits of the use of psychedelics. Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent Corinne Carey spoke with Colin Pugh, the executive director of the Brooklyn Psychedelic Society, about these substances and his plan to make psychedelic healing a publicly accessible good. This conversation took place in advance of New York’s first public gathering to discuss the legalization of psychedelics to be held at the Sanctuary for Independent Media on April 19, 2022 (a virtual event), which the Brooklyn Psychedelic Society is co-sponsoring.
