Dunn Landfill Opponents Push DEC On Permit Renewal

Over the last 7 years, residents of Rensselaer have been fighting for the closure of the Dunn Landfill due to its negative impacts; including noise, diesel exhaust, hydrogen sulfide odors, truck traffic, and proximity to a local school. Rensselaer Environmental Coalition held a news conference to discuss the many problems it has cited in the original review of the permit by DEC.
