Center for Law and Justice on Public Housing Tenants Facing Eviction

1500 public housing tenants in Albany are facing eviction for back rent during the COVID crisis. Marco Flagg of the Center for Law and Justice points out that the state’s Emergency Assistance Rental Program has run out of funds. Groups are urging Albany County to use federal covid relief funds to pay $3 million to the Albany Housing Authority to revolve the rent arrears. With Mark Dunlea for Hudson Mohawk Radio Network.
