Capital Roots Fires Union Organizers and Cancels Major Fundraising Event

Capital Roots has canceled one of its two major fundraising events, the Autumn Evening gala that had been scheduled for September 15th. Before Wednesday’s announcement that it was canceled, Hudson Mohawk Magazine producer Elizabeth Press caught up with former Capital Roots employee Cody Bloomfield for an update on organizing efforts and her take on why she was fired.
