Banned Books Libraries in Saratoga

In celebration of Banned Books Week, we hear about two free little libraries in Saratoga. Sarah Craig, Executive Director of Caffe Lena, talks about the “Little Liberty Library” in the Caffe’s courtyard at 47 Phila St. Then Linda LeTendre of Peace Action discusses the little library outside the “Black Elks Club” at 69 Beekman Street, which focuses on books covering black history and black culture. We also hear about a read-aloud event on Saturday 9/24. For more details, visit caffelena.org or contact Linda at [email protected]. Produced by Brea Barthel for Hudson Mohawk Magazine.
