Albany Community Police Review Board Budget Request

The city of Albany passed a new law in 2020 which gives extra investigative powers to the community police review board. However, the board still has only one paid staff member and shares legal council with the city and therefore, with the police department they are asked to investigate. This fall the board is requesting a much larger budget to do this work and Moses Nagel reports on why.
