Voices Youth Climate Rally Capitol August 6

Several hundred people attended the New York Youth Climate Leaders (NY2CL rally at the State Capitol on August 6. A major focus was to get the NYS Teachers Retirement System to Divest from fossil fuels. They also called on the legislature to take action on various climate measures. We hear from Liam Smith and Anna Cersaleti of NY2CL); Becky Meier of Nyers Against Fracked Gas Pipeline; and Matt Olli and Larissa Borglum of Extinction Rebellion.
