Travison Groups Seek $20 Million For Housing In Albany Low – Income Areas

Community groups in the City of Albany are proposing that $20 million of the $85 million in federal COVID relief funds be devoted to neighborhood revitalization and housing in the city’s three low-income communities. The Times Union recently detailed a century of housing discrimination supported by government policies in communities of color in Albany. Laura Travison of the South End Improvement Corporation discusses the proposal with Mark Dunlea of the Hudson Mohawk Radio Network.
