Plastics are the Fossil Fuel Industry’s Plan B

The climate marchers on last Saturday spoke a lot about fossil fuel emissions and the need to faze out their use. Alexis Goldsmith reminded the audience to include plastics in these conversations as they are enormous contributors to climate emissions.

We recently had Alexis Goldsmith on the show to talk about a recent report by Beyond Plastics called “The New Coal: Plastics and Climate Change.” You can hear that interview on our website with a link to the report. It’s a great introduction to the plastics industry’s significant contributions to the climate crisis.
