HIV/AIDS Sacred Time and Space

Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent Steve Pierce speaks with Kyla Loucks, counseling and testing case manager at Albany Med, about the Sacred Time and Space event in honor of National Faith and HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

The virtual event features a discussion on HIV/AIDS, an interfaith prayer led by many different faith tradition leaders, and a space for participants to share their own stories and experiences. The aim is to create a space for folks to process, express, or heal as they need with the support their community, faith leaders, and sexual wellness experts.
