Herrera Talks SWEAT Bill and Wage Theft Rally

Each year more than one billion dollars is stolen from the paychecks of low-income workers in New York. A coalition of workers and community groups worked for years to pass the SWEAT bill to address the problem, only to have Cuomo two years ago veto the bill on New Year’s Day. We talk with restaurant worker and NMASS member Carlos Herrera about a recent protest outside the Governor’s office in Manhattan. With Mark Dunlea for Hudson Mohawk radio network.
