Fridays For The Future Global Climate Strike Sept 24

On Friday, September 24, young people around the world took to the streets to demand urgent action to avert disastrous climate change, in their largest protest since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The strike took place five weeks before the U.N. COP26 summit. We hear from Anna Kathawala, co-chair of Fridays for the Future NYC, about the demands of the Climate Strike, including the need to lift up the voices of the poor, indigenous people, and the Global South. With Mark Dunlea for Hudson Mohawk Radio Network.
