HMM 12 – 22 – 21 Holiday Special on Climate

2021 was yet another disappointing year for climate action at the state, national and international levels. We pull together an end of the year review on climate featuring five segments from Hudson Mohawk Magazine; an interview with Mark Dunlea of Green Education and Legal Fund on the NY Climate plan; the Green Party’s Howie Hawkins, who first proposed a Green New Deal in 2010; coverage of the NY Youth Climate Leaders rally at the state Capitol in August; Jamaica Miles of All of Us discussing climate and racial justice at the Nov. 6 March in Albany for Global Climate Justice at COP26; and Pete Sikora of New Yorkers for Community Change discussing what the climate movement must do to make NYS lawmakers act on climate in 2022.
