Armando Soto Exhibits Art at Collar City Mushrooms

On Saturday, July 17, local artist Armando Soto exhibited his colorful art at Collar City Mushrooms. The event was the second in a series of music and creativity celebrations hosted by the local mushroom farm in conjunction with Bliss Arts to bring the community together to appreciate art, food, and music. HMM correspondent Corinne Carey was there, and spoke to the organizer, several attendees, and the artist himself, Armando Soto. Armando’s paintings reflect Taino, Nuyorican and Jazz cultures. Soto’s artwork will be on exhibit with some available to purchase at Collar City Mushrooms at 333 Second Avenue in the Lansingburgh section of Troy until September.
