Michael Barrett On Masking And The Rent War

The New York State Legislature recently voted to rescind a 200 year-old law banning the use of facemasks in public. Historian Michael Barrett speaks with Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent Steve Pierce about the roots of that law in the Rent Wars that swept New York State in the late 1800s.
