Mayor Bill Keeler Statement on Norlite – Radio Edit 2

On Tuesday, Feb. 25th, Cohoes Mayor Bill Keeler met with Norlite officials and the Department of Environmental Conservation regarding the burning of toxic fire-fighting foam at the Norlite incinerator in Cohoes. Keeler then addressed the public and the Cohoes Common Council on what transpired during that meeting. He spoke with Hudson Mohawk Magazine correspondent Alexis Goldsmith about Saratoga Sites, the low-income housing facility located next to the smokestacks, and about Norlite’s plans to test burn AFFF substances.
