Today we’ll feature an interview with Bob Cohen, Policy Director of Citizen Action New York, discussing National Grid‘s rate hike case in upstate NY and their efforts to try and halt the expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure.

Then Thomas Kearney from Release Aging People in Prison discusses an October Covid-19 spike in Greene Correctional Facility and the fallout around that.

And later on, you will hear excerpts from the webinar talk “Their Democracy and Ours.” with Astra Taylor, Award-Winning Film Director, who talked to Activist Angela Davis on the subject of democracy. This is part- two of two segments.

After that, Luke Grandis from VOCAL-NY, and Rebecca Gerrard and Gabriel Silva from Citizen Action NY talk of New York State continuing evictions even as winter comes and the Coronavirus pandemic persists.

Finally, we hear from Hugh Johnson, retired meteorologist, about what Joe Biden could possibly do to reverse climate change if he is indeed elected president. Johnson also shares his weather predictions for the coming cold months.
