8’05 Triple E’s Joules Brown

Intro: Joules is a multi-media artist interning here at the sanctuary. Here’s a short interview with H Bosh Jr. about how she combines art and music.

Joules is a queer Latinx-Canadian artist based in Montreal, QC who creates multi-sensory installations, paintings, writes original music and experiments with performance. Her work always includes an aspect of vulnerability. She believes that having the space to express oneself is one of the most highly underrated gifts. She wishes to empower marginalized groups through the magic of perception. She encourages self-sufficiency and introspection, she enjoys holding space and being a witness to self-expression. She is sometimes overly personal, but always honestly putting herself out there.
