Reclaiming History Black Wall Street Then And Now

In this segment of Reclaiming History Lovonia interviews Dr Chris Messer a Professor of Sociology and Criminology at Colorado State University-Pueblo. He regularly teaches courses on social movements, violence and rioting, and elite crime. His research on the Tulsa Race Riot of 1921 has been published in scholarly journals such as the Western Journal of Black Studies, Sociology of Race & Ethnicity, Journal of Social History, American Journal of Economics and Sociology, and Journal of Black Studies. He wrote article called Official Frames and the Tulsa Race Riot of 1921: The Struggle for Reparations”

And she also interviews Mr. X, about the commemoration of Greenwood riots with The rebirth of Black Wall St. Expo the May 25, 2019 in Krank Park in Albany
